ASK US EMPLOYMENT
The following is a list of requirements needed to become an employee of the Ask Us Program:
Person must be mature, possess excellent personal qualifications, be in good physical and mental health, and be able to have the energy and stamina necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of their position
Person must have previous child care experience
Person must be at least 16 years of age
Employees must meet the following criteria set out by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services:
Submit a copy of their resume
SCR clearance, which is a background check to be certain there has been no report of child abuse or maltreatment
Formal NYS fingerprinting
Signed statement of criminal history review
Medical statement which includes updated TB vaccine
